Why You Need It
No Errors with Truletic Technology batting gloves are not
only comfortable and long lasting but they will help
protect you against these common known hand injuries.
Hamate hook fracture "THE HAMMY"
This type of fracture most frequently occurs in batters.
The fracture often occurs when a swinging bat hits the
hamate bone in the hand. It can take six to eight weeks
to be able to return to play with this type of injury.
Metacarpal fractures
Many baseball players get metacarpal fractures in their
nondominant hands, as the result of a baseball striking
their hand. It generally can take a few weeks to be able
to return to play for those with this injury.
Mallet injury
Fractures can occur when the ball hits the tip of the
finger, causing the tip of the finger to buckle down. The
ball impacts the finger. This impact can cause a chip or
a fracture to the top of the joint attached to the tendon.
